Discovery.com Purchases RIGHTSPRO™ SUITE |
On November 8th, 2001, RIGHTSASSIST, LLC, installed RIGHTSPRO™ SUITE for Discovery.com, a unit of Discovery Networks. The system tracks essential content, licensing, and project information associated with Discovery’s award-winning Web site.
“Discovery.com licenses and buys thousands of images a year,” says Kate Griffin, multimedia editor for Discovery.com. “Those images represent a substantial investment of time and money – first to locate and license, then to track and store. We’ve been searching for a system that could effectively manage those assets for us. RIGHTSPRO is unique in that it not only manages the assets, it administers the related contracts.”
